Philippa Hendry on Flyer Des Coupeaux at Berkshire College Of Agriculture Horse Trials

The BETTALIFE and EHOA Veteran Eventing League rewards those older riders (45 and over) whose passion for eventing burns as strong as ever.

Philippa Hendry and Flyer des Coupeaux took an impressive five wins at BE100 level in 2024, including this win at Berkshire College of Agriculture to take the first prize of £500, the Veterans’ League trophy and a selection of BettaLife products.

Alex Hua Tian and Chicko at Defender Bramham International Horse Trials 2024

It's Chinese New Year and who better to celebrate with than Chinese Olympian Alex Hua Tian. 

Alex and his up and coming horse Chicko will be ones to watch in 2025 after taking fourth place in the CCI5* at Les Etoiles de Pau 2024 and other good results throughout the year. The Chinese Year of the Snake is also the year of the 2025 FEI Asian Championships, postponed from 2023.
 

Maxime Livio - the pressured pace of a top athlete

In late 2024, top French eventing rider Maxime Livio announced that he was taking a break from competition and that his horses had been found new homes.
